Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) of Pneumatic System of CNC Milling Machine

The purpose of this study is to determine the type failures, causes, as well efforts and proposed actions that can be taken improve performance pneumatic system CNC milling machines. Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) method used find priority problems through Risk Priority Number (RPN) for components machine. results critical component analysis were a leakage occurs in valve component, which most risk RPN value. It potential failure was caused high humidity poor air quality from compressor, 392 384 respectively. improvement replacement damaged optimizing preventive maintenance, follow right operation maintenance procedures recommended suggested by manufacturer.
